Is it possible to put a D2 headunit into a D1...will it work with the steering wheel controls ect.. |

I ask the dealer several months ago about this. They said it will work with a little rewire work. I have not decided on my radio issues yet primarily because I've been thinking about XM. The D2 radio is not XM compatible yet. An inline module would have to be installed. But as far as fit into the dash, it should work. The dash panels are almost identical behind. |

probably will not work with the D1 Cd Changer. The D1 CD Changer uses the M-Bus interface and all new CD Changers use IP-Bus. |
