Any one know if it is possible to repair torn leather? I'm not terribly concerned, as the tear is well hidden when the back seas are down. (I fold them up every other day for the dogs.) I just don't want it to keep ripping and ruin the seat all together. If I can't repair the leather, anyone have a good lightstone seat back for sale? (Driver side rear seat, 98) |

Permatex makes a leather and vinyl repair kit. While it's not perfect, it'll help somewhat and strengthen the cut a little, too. |

Daniel, We have 2 Labs that are always in our Rovers and Escape. For the Escape I purchased a rear cover from wetoke http://www.wetokole.com/. Less expensive than the LR ones in the RR, yet, work really well in keeping the leather from being torn by paws and dry from when they go swimming. Like a neopreme material so they stretch over the seat and the seat still can be folded if need be. Hope this helps. Regards, Jaime |
