My RRC has about 120k miles it. Due to breaking several bolts while removing the water pump I have had to remove the front cover and lucky for me I did. I have 13 teeth left out of 40, I think, on the cam timing gear. Just thought I would pass the info along.

Quick, while you can, replace it with the Cloyes double roller chain/gearset.

I'm sorry I don't have a part no. for you.

My nylon toothed gear shattered at 183K on my RRC, 1000 miles from Portland up in Canada.

At 1buck/mile (USD), the truck ride home wasn't very cheap.

I advise anyone getting up in miles to replace it as soon as they can.

My Cloyes True roller set is part #9-3132.

Same as Buick 215 or Buick V6.

I am replacing the cam and lifters with the crane parts. I got a timing chain and gears from Carquest $25.00. I think it is a Dyna Gear. Also replacing the headgaskets and head bolts.
