How to change diff oil

How do i change the diff oil on a 95 Disco? Whats the best diff oil to use? And what tools do i need. Replace plug. Remove filler (top) plug and fill with 90wt gear oil. It is full when the oil is even with the bottom of the fill hole. One of lifes little lessons I learned the hard way!
