I have had excellent luck finding what I need at excellent prices at Riva Yamaha. The best part is that they have an on-line original parts catalog.

For the main page go to: www.rivayamaha.com

For the ATV Parts Finder try: http://216.37.204.203/Yamaha_OEM/YamahaATV.asp

Good Luck,

How do you get the old CV out of the front diff? I read somewhere all you have to do it pull it out? Does anyone have any experience with this as I am about to get my hands dirty with it.

Here’s an answer to your question, click the link below. Since I’m already registered I posted it for you. It might be worth the time to register, lots of good info at the links I gave you. You do have to deal with some kids and some misspelling and at time very poor grammar, Curtis you’d have a field day, but still these sites have knowledgeable people willing to help.

Thanks Dan. I pulled both CV's this afternoon. it was easy. going to send them to a shop in Louisiana to get rebuilt into HD's that can handle the lift tires and soon hopefully a detroit locker. O yeah its not my 4 wheeler its a friends but somewhat of a joint interest, I meant to clarify that.

Phillip: Good to hear you got the CV's out. My experience with these little motors and drivetrains is to just pull it apart and see what happens. There are usually few surprises in disassembly, but reassembly is where it counts.

Dan: I NEVER have a field day with bad grammar and other mistakes. I make enough of my own. However, it is good to see you help someone out here and that is what really counts.
