Does anybody know if a dual battery set-up is possible on a '03 Disco II? If so, anybody know how to do it? I went to a battery shop near my house, and the technician didn't think a dual optima battery set up was possible on my disco. But he suggested that I get a large marine battery (deep cycle) instead. Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

I plan on getting some lights for my disco and may get a winch in the future.

You can install two batteries side by side in the d2 in the original spot

There are several people here who have put two batteries in their DII's, myself included. Search the discussion board for 'dual battery'. My setup can be seen here:
