Just wondering,
Does anyone want to reccomend what they like for a grease gun for ?zerk fittings?.
Is there anywhere else one may be helpful besides U Joints?

I use a air one when I have a compressor handy from just a local tool store. Costs like 16 bucks...

I use a Lincoln grease gun, with a flex tube. Works very well...

I use a CAT grease gun purchased from the local Hawthorne dealer. I got tired of the crappy one's you get at the car parts store's.

As for air grease guns I have heard they can cause "issues" with seals if your not careful

Greasey!
What is the best grease for prop shafts?
That info helps. I'll be looking this weekend and I will hit the hardware/machine shops instead. Thanks.....

I use mobil 1 synth with EP additives. Practically any EP grease will get it done for you though if it's repuatable.

Hi temp moly grease. Experience (lots) greasing steam locomotives; John Deere grease gun available and not costly as I remember from any JD dealer. Matter of fact, the black moly grease that cost a little more than regular won't wash out of joints if used for anything out in the weather as well. Longer lasting in front end parts too.

Thanks Paul.
I ordered some HD Moly... from Amsoil. Sounds like I might have gotten the right stuff.
Is there any other spots to hit besides the zerk's on the prop shafts?
I did the swivel ball housings (oil) over the weekend and they seem to be holding thir own.
