For those closet Cooper Tire fans (like me) just a note that in March Cooper acquired Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek tires. I wonder what changes that will bring for MT/DC tires (such as Baja Claws, etc) although I've never owned a set. BTW- a bit of info- Avon Tyres (UK) is owned by Cooper and Pirelli handels US distrib. of Cooper tires. (And yes, any tire you buy from Pep Boys is made by Cooper.) |
