You will be pleased to know that a Rover has just won the gruelling outback challenge held the Australian outback (desert if you like). The fact that it was a Rangie should not stop joy. It has also won before. The Rangie beat entrants from all over the world. One pro team from the USA who pulled a shorty Jeep out before it was destroyed was heard to say "We came, we learnt, we went". There were many US based Jeeps that were broken or pulled out before major damage and the Rangie went through like a train. GO LR!!! |

I should say that it was a private Australian entrant and the Rangie was about 10-15 years old. |

yay.. i have the tapes from '99 and 2000 from a friend in OZ. i remeber kermit and another rangie that did well, who won? rd |
