I'd say this kind of sums it up. But to pay $3,575? sheesh

"Even the Hummer owners drive the camp's H2's rather than their own. That gives them license to run risks they might never take with their own trucks. (Hummer drivers don't typically drive off-road — that's what Hummer camp is for.)

"This is too nice a truck to do this to," said Mr. Mills, the jowly, mustachioed lottery winner, appraising a camp loaner that was covered with dirt and scratches after becoming so bogged down in mud that it took a winch to pull it free. "They said they had their own trucks. I was like, `I'll come.' "

How is this diffrent from the Equinox www.equinoxresort.com I believe they let you drive their LR's and are a certified LR driving centre. I believe there is also a school called Greenbrier on the East Coast that has a similar program where you drive their trucks. Both of these schools charge over $100 an hour. I am sure that you would find a number of their customers saying the same thing but behind the wheel of a RR or LR.

As far as the Equinox goes you have to use there vehicles because of insurance. The 4x4 Center in Williston, just south of Rovers North has the same kind of deal. They have all of their Rovers "expedition ready" and charge by the half day.

I had just seen somewhere that LRNA is closing or has already closed the Equinox, so they can concentrate their efforts and attention on the greenbrier and their west coast operation, who's name escapes me at the moment.
