For those of you who are interested, the Going to the Sun Road across Glacier National Park opened to the public on Friday, and was promptly closed again this morning due to fallen boulders. As a new employee here, I took the opportunity to drive the road both directions on Saturday. WOW!! You gotta see this drive. Here are a few photos of my journey.

I think the History channel did a show about that road and how they built it a year or so ago. Great shots, would love to see it someday. |

But I can do without the snow. Had enough of that this winter. Another great North American Drive is the Cabot Trail in Novia Scotia. The family and I did it last year. It was awsome. Here's a shot with my boys.

Okay, you made me feel like crap stuck here at this job looking at a computer all day. Nice pictures, I'm quite jealous of your job! I love that park, I hope to bike that road someday. |

Beautiful. I've never seen Glacier Park, and have wanted to for years. It's hard to be reminded of snow when it's 90 degrees outside and I'm chained to a keyboard. At least I get to drive roads like that to and from work every Winter. |

I'd love to see Glacier again..... very sweet park; we were in too big of a hurry to get on up to Banff, didn't get to stay long there. Would like to go spend more than just a couple of days there.... -L
