Hi All-
Please excuse this non-Rover oriented post but I REALLY want to fix it this weekend if I don't need parts. Our 1990 Volvo 240 wagon has developed a very, very heavy steering feel to it. It doesn't really come "back to center" after you corner. It's almost like manually steering a truck, yes it's that bad! The belts are fine and the fluid level is good. A mechanic friend mentioned a steering knuckle or shaft problem as a possiblity. Any suggestions on how to check these or how to check the PS pump for operation? Naturally it happened the same exact week I had decided to advertise it for sale and my mechanic friend is out of town, I swear it must have known.

Thanks In Advance...

Tim
