most of the good stuff like thompson's creek has been closed. Kisatchie Natl Forest has some fun stuff but it is a drive and therefore not really in the Baton Rouge area.

There is this:
http://www.2bbsouthern.org/trailreports/may20_2001/tr_may20_2001.html

It is fairly new and I haven't had a chance to go yet, it is about an hour north of Baton Rouge pretty close to my house and even closer to the historic town of St. Francisville (that would have stuff the wife might enjoy doing if she is in tow and doesn't like wheeling).

When exactly are you going to be around, I'm pretty busy but wouldn't mind heading out there if I have the time.

Heading up to B.R. this afternoon. My sis in law want to be taken out wheelin, she lives just off the Highland Perkins exit. St Francisville sounds a bit far for today but if I plan ahead its a must see. My wife loves it shes a wonderful co-pilot, I wouldn't go wheeling without her.
