Ok, sorry about the EXTREMELY long absence...but since I last spoke to you all, the following has happened in my life:
Finished up a rough season in the job
Rover got a new exhaust
Got married
Went to Hawaii
Came back to reality
Rover still runs great (though headliner is now falling down from sitting in the sun for two weeks during honeymoon!)

I wanted to say hi and let you all know I'm still alive. And I'm ready for SUMMER! AND MAR! (thinking ahead, huh?!) I also have a few 'sightings' from Hawaii to post in jpeg form!

Did the getting married part bring you back to reality?:-) Im sure it wasn't Hawaii that did that.

I was wondering where all the voices of reason have been hiding. Congrats Sus and welcome back.

OK, can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of my digital pictures so that I can post them?!

Sus, don't resize them... just send them to Ho and he can add them to your gallery. Then we can all salivate with envy while viewing them...LOL

BTW, Congrats and Welcome Back!

Ok, I'm learning here....
I wanted to share that we saw only 2 Defender 90s on Kaua'i...one red and one green. The green one was stock but had all the bells and whistles and was FOR SALE! :-) And of course, we saw lots of stock DIs and DIIs. I didn't get any pics of those.
Then, on Maui, we saw the Rovers that I'm going to post pics of...hopefully. The Disco was an LSE Anniversary edition with the Hawaiian license plate "WTRFALL" We waved and they were very friendly. I grabbed the camera b/c it reminded me of the Goldie Box (only newer!) and the setting was fantastic. CLIFF-SIDE one lane road and bridge! That was northwestern Maui.

The Series was spotted at a homesite along the Road to Hana...somewhere on the south eastern side of the island. It's Ivan's favorite.

The Rangie was parked at a house on the southern side of the Haleakala Volcano Crater...it was almost dark then so it's hard to see. There was a really ooold Bronco parked next to it.

I've got some other GREAT, non-Rover pics that I'll add soon. And, we were driving a 2003 Subaru Outback Wagone...I must say that will be my new Rover sidekick when I can get one!

Nice pics Sus! I like the picture of the 109 with the spare pickup top on the ground. Very Cool! Actually, it could be one of the ones in the LR Across America video where they featured LR activities in Hawaii. Again, congrats and welcome back!
