Okay, I've got my Safari Gard diff guards for my 2001 D2. I'm so ready to be cool like the big kids it's not even funny. Only thing is, it doesn't look like they have a hole for the differential drain plug. There's a little hole in the very center at the bottom of the diff guards, but not big enough for a drain plug. Isn't the drain plug on the D2 slightly off center and about 1" around? I've got a friend with a plasma cutter if we need to put a new hole in these things - just seems like a lot of trouble. I'm going to be under my rover in the parking garage at lunch, I just know it. |

I think you may have gotten the wrong ones. The $G guards I got for my DII had the drain plug access hole in the right position and required no modifications. Steve |
