Occasionally when I pressed my driver's window down, the window would roll all the way down, and when it stopped - the passenger's window would then go down! Pretty cool, huh? I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. A number of DWebbers tested theirs for me. Well, it eventually stopped... and so did the driver's window motor. It died on me, and I was fortunate enough to find one here in the Classifieds. I installed it last night and now the passenger window goes down when the driver's window is finished. What's up with that? Anyone know? I can assure you there is no wrong way to put in that motor - it's a simple two-wire male/female plug that can only be plugged in one way. I'm stumped... anyone? I 've heard that many Discoveries have a bug in their window ECU. On mine it shows up if your turn the key to fast when you shut off the motor. the passenger window will roll down.
