Greetings, I have a 96 Disco. I'd like to know if a 4.0 engine from a 2000-2002 Disco2 is a direct swap. Will I need the ECU and harness to do it or is it just plug and play? Thanks for your advice! -Mark | ||

Why would you want to swap the engine out of a 2000-2002 Disco? Doesn't your 96 have one? Besides, if you were going to swap out the engine in your 96, it would make more sence to drop in a 4.6. All you need to do is re chip the computer. |
