are there any reasons why i would smell raw gas on the pass side of my car? it's very aparent... my fuel line seems to not run smoothly as i believe my fuel filter is clogged. (i cant seem to replace it) could this be related? leaking?

Raw gas as opposed to cooked gas? :-)

Look at the entire area around your fuel line (Frame and body). You are looking for fuel residue from a possible pin-sized hole in your line.

I had similar and it was the fuel filter which sprang a pinhole leak. As it's under pressure it goes everywhere!!! (washed all the waxoyl off...)
See other posts here re fuel filter.
