Hello, My Southdown D2 rear diff guard arrived from Rovers North. When I went to install it, I found that two of the required screws were not included with the parts package. I'm also beginning to suspect that I was sent the wrong diff guard. My question: There is a hoop through which the guard bolts onto using two screws. Does this hoop fasten on the inside of the guard or the outside? On the Rovers North Range Rover/Disco catalog (p35), the hoop appears to fasten on the inside. From looking at the pictures that Kirk Thibault posted on 5/22, the hoop looks like it is on the inside as well. The diff guard I received looks much more like one for a D1 where the hoop fastens on the outside. Could someone please confirm? Thanks, -Eugene |

D2 hoop is mounted inside. If you had it mounted externally, it would provide another lip for a rock to grab. Call RN and have them ship you the hardware. |

Thanks Paul. I called RN yesterday and they are having Southdown ship me a new hardware package. If you're ever in the NJ/PA area, I'll buy you your choice of beer. -Eugene |
