Does anyone know options other than the dealer for getting a engine code read. My engine light came on, and the dealer wants $120.00 just to read the code. Is there anyway to trouble shoot or get the code read other ways?

According to this link (http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/RR/FAQ.RR.RangeRoverC_US.html), you should have the code readout display under the passenger seat on a '90. Looks like a good size relay box (brown or black in colour??) with a red, translucent front. Check out the tech section to see how to access the codes and what any resulting codes mean.

yes it is very simple to get your codes. move the passenger seat all the way foward and look under the seat. looking foward the diplay is on the right side. turn your key on and the display should be red digital numbers. ie 48 . it is just as easy to reset the check engine light. simply disconnect the battery and wait a few .... reconnect and it should go away
