I'm sure that this issue has been brought up before but I did a search and couldn't find anything. I recently disovered that the 15 amp fuse for the brake lights and rear singals also controls the park lock out for the automatic on my 94 Disco. Luckily I figured it out almost getting stranded in the process. My real question is why the Anit Lock light on the dash is now on. It only came on when first starting out, since this fuse issue it is on all the time. Any ideas? Thanks, Sean |

The anti-lock light will always come on until you exceed I believe 5mph as per the owners manual. At least with a Disco I. |

Sean, if the ABS lights do not go out you probably have a bad ABS sensor! They do seem to go out a lot. The fact that it went out the same time you fix something else is just part of the Land Rover experience (Fix one thing, two other things go bad). I have heard that the sensors located by the wheels can sometimes pop out, try to push them in and see if that fixes your problem. In my case I had to get two new front sensors as they both shorted out at the same time???? |
