what would a new non Land Rover exhaust system cost... no performance, just something that makes it quiet as possible. something from Meineke or something

catback should cost you no more than $200-250 including muffler. This is assuming no resonator.

Y-pipe with cats will be much more.

what does a resonator do? i just want something that makes my car silent as possible and doesnt have a hole in it... my current exhaust has a little hole and when i accelerate it leaks and it's loud

The resonator is supposed to eliminate the hum that happens at certain rpms. It's common for people to just cut off the resonator and replace with exhaust pipe with no additional sound problems.
