Thought it was pretty good - I'd only seen the stories in the Brit LR rags. Craig, was the event you did in California or at Equinox? I can't believe I missed the one here.

Three-foot metal stick in a thunderstorm? NO PROBLEM! Are you going to compete in trials for Trek down the road?

Craig, I had the same problem Garrett did. Only bike racing. Where did you find the listings? My brother-in-law was going to tape it for me (he's on Sattellite-my cable company has The Outdood Channel, not OLN), but all he could find was the bike stuff. I'd really like to see the show.

I did the same thing... So I looked into it... Check http://www.olntv.com. On the left hand menu, under 'Outdoor Adventure', click 'TV Programs'. You will see the Land Rover Trek link near the top. Go there and you will see the times listed. The next show times are 04.20.2002 at 4pm and 04.25.2002 at 12pm. The post above that listed 04.18.2002 as a show time was mistaken, accidentally I am sure.

No offense to the LR Trek and all, but I have enjoyed the Discoweb Moab tape much more than the Trek show on TV.

Phil- I agree... but I'll take any Rover based tv I can get. (well, Freelander commercials aside of course... LOL)

I caught the show yesterday. It was cool but I expected a bit more. In my opinion, the TREK contest was 80% "what team is in shape" and 20% "who can drive the vehicle."

Did anyone tape this? If so, any chance I can borrow the tape? I'm never around my home to watch this and would like to see it.

I'll pay postage of course...

Thanks,
Dave M.

It's so sad. We don't get the OLN channel here in Los Angeles, at least through Charter Cable I don't.

Ho, I looked through the channel line up for my city through charter.com and I can't find it. What channel do you get it on in Glendale? I did a search on the Glendale channel line up there too without anyluck. Maybe the webpage isn't up-to-date?

I came home from work to watch the show over lunch today. It was pretty interesting. I definitely would have prefered more off-roading and less biking, kayaking, etc... fun to do, less so to watch. The best part by far was the event where the rovers had a recovery strap tied to the top of the truck with the other side attached to a post in the center of a steep hill; they drove around it at something like a 60 degree angle! I was jealous. Take a look http://www.gotmud.org/trek/trek00_28.jpg
