The transmission high temp light on my '94 Disco is glowing at highway speeds. It is not bright, you only notice it at night, and it goes dark when you slow down. Anyone have this problem before. Is it normal?

It sounds like the obvious...the transmission oil temp. sensor. Cheap part to replace...did mine a few months ago. Got the part from roversnorth about $23 bucks. Don't forget to get the new crush washer...can't reuse the old one and can't find them at any auto parts store. It's located right behind the radiator on the bottom right side as you are facing the hood.
