craw under the truck with a mirror. Have someone sit in the truck and have them wotk the lever side to side. Look at the linkage move with the mirror (unless you can see it otherwise). If nothing is moving it may be froze up. Use PB Blaster and soak it twice a day for a week. If it is moving, make sure it is moving all the way towards the passinger door. Grab the lever at the t-case and pull to make sure it is locked in. If it is then you have problems. Check to see if the front drive shaft is turning. Make sure your 4wd light is working, it may be just burnt out. |

I rescued a Ford f150 4x4 pickup buried to the frame rails in mud. In low range low gear no diff lock. No muss, no fuss...out in one tug. |

Not sure about $9.99 O2 Sensors, but I did find the universal ones for 30 something dollars. |

Mine was not working and this is how I fixed it. There is a limit switch on top of the transfer case with 2 wires going into it. Unscrew it a half turn or so. It was in too far, preventing the lock from engaging. |

well.. my cdl works fine now! i found it WAY WAY easier to just slide under the truck and spray it with regular old rust buster spray, and a few moments later.. with a few taps from a rubber hammer, i got movement. and a little bit of working, it got easier. as for the o2 sensrs.. well, i got mine from car parts.com. ..the bad thing is that it will take up to 4weeks for me to get them! the cost $38.. has anyone heard of standard manufacturing? they are the ones who make the cheap o2 sensors. so if anyone can locate them, let me know. i would like to cut out the middle man, and deal dirctly with the factory! (jc whittney claims they dont have info on standard manuf. BULLLonie) so- lets track them down ourselves! |

i jacked up the front with the diff locked and the front didnt spin...i unlocked the front and the tire spun..soo im assuming it works and the light dont...can i use the existing wires and rig my own light?...now im afraid i'll tear it up without a light....also 14x3\4 inch sheet metal screws fit perfect in place of rivets |
