On an English website that offers OEM stuff for the new 03 Disco, I saw some cool looking rear window shades for the back doors. They are darn expensive! Does anyone make something cheaper and better for a Disco I? Has anyone ever rigged something that is just about as convenient?

They made some for the early Discos but I haven't seen them advertised in several years. I got a set for my Disco from LR Marketplace for about $.10 on th dollar. Good deal at that price, covered the two pasenger doors, the two Alpine windows, the rear side windows and the window on the back door. They were originally priced at about 250 pounds, so the probably didn't sell much even in Europe. I'll see if I can dig up the original part numbers. -Reed |
