It took six months and about $100 worth of ads but the Discovery finally sold. After all the effort of advertising a coworker stopped by one day and asked what I drove. I told her and she said she'd always liked them and was in the market for an SUV. I worked a deal where I took her car as a partial trade plus cash. She was planning to trade it at the dealer and needed to offload it prior to buying so we worked the deal. Ended up getting $10,500 plus the trade (she wanted $3500 for it). The trade is a 1995 Honda Civis DX Coupe. 87,xxx miless with all the service done including the 90K service. One owner commuter machine. I plan to sell it for aroud $4500 (they sell for $5000+ locally). Todd |
