Disco2 remote keys

Our new-used disco only came with one. You can also get just a blank key cut at the dealer ($12 or so). My disco i just bought didnt come with the keychain remote thing. i know the disco has the horn alarm thing because i set it off already when i left the hood partially open then locked the doors and later came back and opened the hood and it scarred the hell out of me when the horn started blarring in my face. to get to the point can i just buy one of the remote fobs and have it programed for my disco or is my disco missing a key component?
