I've been waiting around several months for my 96 DI w/ OME MD "handed" springs and shocks to lean. Mind you, I bought used, broken in front handed springs and new rear handed springs + new shocks. So I have out-of-the-box OME handed springs on for 6 months/5k mi now, plus several months addt'l on the front. When will it lean? or is this an old wive's tale? joe |

when you really load it up with a lot of wait and then bounce around. do that a few times. also did you notice one spring was at all shorter than the other? you'll have the "disco lean " from the factory in many cases. i know i did. rd |

If you haven't noticed it leaning yet, you're probably not parking on level ground. All Discoverys leaned a bit to the pass. side to compensate for a 200-lb driver. Now that's all well and good when you're alone in the truck, but if your girlfriend is riding with you, then she looks like a fatass... |

Mine took about a year before I really noticed it, and then it was off about 1.5 to 2 inches. After swapping springs, getting a replacement from ARB and a bunch of other crap, I ended up swapping the rears and all is good. |
