I saw something very odd a few weeks ago on I77 in Charlotte. A transport truck with two brand spanking new M-B Unimogs on the back. I believe there was a red one and a blue one, and looked as though they were for private use??? |

http://www.allpar.com/model/ram/unimog.html http://mbspy.bacosys.be/unimogna.htm Seems like there was a lot of hype a few years ago about the new Uni coming to the US but I haven't really heard much since. It'd be cool to see some put to work. ~Art Vigil |

I don't understand what makes the Unimog such a great off-roader - it's so tall(high center of gravity) and narrow like a Gwagen |

In Park City Utah they use Mogs to plow the streets and pick up trash in winter. Mogs are really bad ass, check out this link; http://www.mercedes-benz.com/e/ecars/unimog/default.htm 46 deg departure angle, 51 deg approach angle, fording capability of 3.5'! 38 deg ramp over angle 45 deg climb ablity ability to relocate rail cars sells it for me

Its funny when your the only one in the office in the morning carring in the 22 oz of coffee... I guess because I like the booze and love my coffee, I too think those prices are high. On the bright side, LR resale prices are better than average here, good for the seller anyway. |

Pretty well, there are lots of "gentiles" here in utah. So they tend to stick together, one good place is at coffee houses. Starbucks gets some good competition from local shops too. I tend to be a local coffee house fan, big fan of millcreek coffee beans (local roosted bean). But the farther you get away from salt lake county, and the city, you get more into areas where coffee houses aren't going to get any money, unless they serve caffine free diet coke. Except for park city and moab (park city for ski bums and rich people or Moab for 4 wheelers, mountain bikers, climbers, boaters) the rest of the state is quite mormon. You either can handle this states quirks or they drive you crazy. It drives me crazy till I realize it's a 3 hour drive to moab or a 30 minute drive to alta from my house. Plus its not 115deg like AZ. But somethings wrong when I go fishing after work with some co-workers and none want any beer! |

Andy, everyone who is not Jewish, is a gentile. Thus, all mormans are gentiles. So is it against the morman faith to have caffine? |

That's a good link to explain the whole caffine thing. I too always understood gentile to mean a non-jew. But the here in utah it means non-mormon. I gave up arguing to the contrary and just drink up my homebrew and ski perfect powder. Its funny to see mormon pass on coffee or booze, but inhale caffine pills and guzzle coke. Its all how you interpet the words of wisdom, my responce to it is "I'll drink to that!" |

Good thing I am Luthern. All I care about is the grass in the yard. Is it green? Sould I mow twice a week to keep that fresh cut look? ETC.... |
