The title pretty well says it. I had the engine running, and was hosing off all the "escaped" coolant from my overheating experiments. Suddenly the engine dies. I grabbed an air line and blew the water off the ECU, and was then able to start it back up. Until I turned the A/C on, then the RPM goes up a fraction then the engine dies. Turn off the A/C and the engine starts right up. Turn the A/C on, but the fan off and the engine runs. Turn the fan on with the A/C on and the engine dies. Turn the fan on with the A/C of and the engine runs. Ideas please? -Reed |

Actually, the great Lucas is laughing his ass off at me right now. I guess whatever that had gotten soaked, just needed the extra day or two to dry out. I whent and started the truck today, then while driving to town, preversity got the better of me and I turned on the A/C. No problemo! Paul- Thanks for the reply. Would that affect the engine at any RPM though, or just at idle? -Reed |
