I know plenty of Disco people have done this, but I am now one of the few (probably very few!) RR owners who's got a flowmaster muffler and dual stainless tips. I'm really pleased with it, and would be glad to share details, costs, installation notes, etc. with anyone who's interested. those are the only mp3s I have so far, but if you want others (in-car at speed, accelerating, etc), let me know. I had a local muffler shop do the work: they cut off the old exhaust system from the cats back, placed 2.5" stainless mandrel-bent tube from the cats into a Flowmaster 40 series (right beneath the B pillar), and directed the Flowmaster out the back with two 3" stainless Magnaflow tips. Including labor, it was $450. It drones only at 62mph, cruises nicely at 70+ no problems. | ||
