Disco Enthusiasts, I would like to replace the POS Goodyear Wrangler 255/55/R18 tires with Michelin Cross Terrain 275/55/R18. Discount Tires will not make this change unless I find success stories as to this particular swap. DT says there will be rubbing in tight turns, but I'm not sure about this conclusion. Has anyone successfully replaced 255/55/R18 with 275/55/R18 of any make or model tire? I further understand that the Michelin tires will be wider and slightly taller than original equipment, but Michelin does not currently make a 255/55/R18 in the model I'm interested in purchasing. All advice welcomed. Thanks All, Gerry |
