Just curious but on my BMW M3 I run all Magnetic Drainplugs in the Oil Pan, Transmission, ECT... Basically anywhere there is fluid and a plug the plug is Magnetic. This is a no brainer but, for those of you who would want to know why... As the fluid passes around the plug it collects any metal shavings or filament that is floating around in there. My question is, has anyone ever heard of these being available on a Rover? I would love to outfit my Classic with a set. They help a lot and can warn you about problems before they become big problems. |

Why don't you just magnatize the ones you have? All you need is a battery and a couple of leads. -P |

When I drag raced Kawasakis, I would epoxy magnetic stir bars in the crank case where there was a suitably sized cavity. One could no doubt bore a hole in the huge drain plug of a Rover and epoxy a stir bar in there. |

I did Aaron, the guy who bought isn't taking delivery until July 2nd so I still drive it around once in a while. |
