I have a disco and my steering wheel seems to be sticking to my hands. Does anyone have any suggestions on cleaning and maintaining interior and exterior. What are the best products to use?

meguiar's gold class rich leather cleaner/conditioner(for all the leather interior and the steering wheel),meguiar's natural shine vinyl and rubber protectant(for dash and inside of doors)bissel carpet care(for carpet), armorall auto glass cleaner(for all the glass), turtle wax soap solution(for exterior), turle wax color cure car pollish in black(color car pollish), castrol super clean(for wheels and tires, does a great job of cleaning the tires even if the tires are old and have cracks), and lastly i painted all my plastic pieces with black bumper paint that i got at advanced auto because my old bumper, and end caps were faded gray and hard to clean it's a really simple job and makes an old rover with faded plastic look brand new and it is so much easier to clean! but thats just what i use.

$1.25 buys 4 minutes at the carwash near my house...Turtle Wax Rubbing and Polishing Compounds and Meguiar's Wax when needed. Carwash also has vacuums. Hey...I have to do something with those spare quarters...

If you really want to spend some money, go to Griott's. They got some nice stuff, but $$$

If your wheel is sticky don't put some of those products on there. If it is the rim it will get very slick! Mine had the same problem and a damp rag worked.

Good point Chris. That sticky stuff is probably just a bunch of grimy, oily, decaying skin cells. A little warm watter should do the trick.
