Is there anyway to setup the rear step for a D1 on a TJM rear bumper? If so how?

I think no one is answering because it's never been done before (most people take them off and leave them off). Most who go to a TJM rear bumper do so because it's a tougher bumper for off-roading and won't be wanting to put a hydraulic rear step on there. Sorry can't be of much help. Just offering some insight into the lack of response. |

Thanks, I do a lot of off roading but used the step quite a bit. My drive way is level on the front wheels put sloped at the rear making the rear pretty high off the ground. the step was good for getting up on the back bumper and loading kids in the back when needed. |

We just mounted a TJM on a D1 last night. The TJM sticks out about 6 inches further than stock. Also, the re-inforcing brackets look like they will interfere with the step operation. I really don't see anyway the two will work together. Thanks, Mike B. |
