Any tricks on lining up the 2 bolts on the axle side when installing new (RTE) front radius arms? I've twisted, done weird floor jack manuvers, still having troubles. Any comments? |

Jack the frame with a floor jack. Jack the axle with a bottle jack. Insert the radius arm into the frame mount (don't forget the bushings). Line up the rear of the two axle bolt holes and insert that bolt. Raise the axle until the forward bolt hole lines up and insert that bolt. Attach the three nuts and tighten. It should take about 3 minutes. Sometimes longer |

Not to be a safety weenie, but I wouldn't get under the Disco when it is held up by just a floor jack. Use jack stands. |

i found that if the truck has a hanging suspention it is harder to get them in. you want the front axel to be as close to the same plane that the bolt hole is in. the steeper the angle the more bind you have with the bushing. rd |
