I'd like to replace the plug wires at some point this summer. However a quick look under the hood and I'm already stumped. All the plug wires seem to run down into the tunnel and from there where?

Jeez, not one of you guys can tell me how to change out plug wires? I just dont know where they go once they look to enter the transmission tunnel. And why is the 6 letter word abbreviation for transmission, that also means to dress in womens clothes not allowed/sensored on a automobile BBS?

Did you trace the plug wires from the plug back? I have a D1 but I would assume that there is little difference. My D1 is a non-distributor engine. The plug wires go from the back-top of the engine (toward the windscreen) to the plugs. Just a thought.
The word is banned b/c the owners don't like it.

Thank you Jack, It looks all the world to me that they run around behind the manifold and kinda disappear over the top of the back of the block down the ------ tunnel, I thought maybe the CD(can I say CD?)box might be up inside the cab? . If it ever stops raining(wettest spring since they've kept records) here in eastern Pa I'll jump back in a poke around some more,

Now why can I say CD and not ? While not exactly the same it would seem the "owners" might not like it also? Ok, from now on my euphimism for the 6 letter ab. of transmission will be TV/TS/CD then we'll all know we're talking transmissions
