Ok here is the story. About 8 months ago I put on BFGs from Town Fair Tire. I wanted to check my brakes last week but I couldn't get the lug nuts off, I mean it was well over 215 pounds because I was jumping on the wrench and bent it. Anyway I brought the truck to the dealer and they took them off and put them back on to spec. Ever since then I get a slight sqeak noise from the drivers side tire when I slow down and accelerate. Whats the problem? I was thinking that because the nuts were so tight that maybe I have a bent rotor. I have a 2000 D2 with 41K. Thanks for the help!!!

Check the mud shields behind the rotor. On my D1, if you aren't careful when you remove/put back on the wheel, you can snag it on that shield ever so slightly bending it in toward the rotor. All I've ever had to do was give it a nice push away from the rotor and problem solved. Maybe it'll be this easy for you as well, and not another problem.. Good luck

There is no way the lug nuts could have been tightned enough to damage the rotor!

Warped rotors make a sound that increases and decreases with your speed. You should also feel a pulsing when you apply your brakes. This does not sound like your problem.

Thanks,
Mike B.
