I've put together a short film called "Arizona Backcountry". For you Arizona residents, you might recognize a few shots, but for the most part, most of the video was filmed in southeast Arizona, which is not visited as often as central and Northern Arizona. The file(.mov) is pretty big (56MB). This film does not contain any 4X4 footage.

BW. Nicely done.

I recognize several areas. Too bad about the Mt. Lemmon area, huh. Summerhaven burned to the ground this week. Such a bummer.

Hope all is well back east.

Jess

I saw that on the news. Too bad. Guess all the local Harleys will have to find another mountain top to gather on.

I'm across the big pond right now. Hope to be back in the states next spring. I'm bringing a F650 back with me. This will give me something to ride when my rover is broke! HA!

In fact, it's broke right now. Soon after our trip on the Gap, I discovered the bolts on the double-caged UV joints were broke. I drove it from Sierra Vista all the way to Louisiana like that.

BW

Congrats on your latest addition . . . very cool.

Mt. Lemmon burned? That sucks!
I was stationed there (Davis Monthan)from 87-90. LOVED the wheeling there. We went out all the time. I forget the names of the places, but I think one was gunsight pass.
We used to get old maps with wagon trails on them and follow the old trails. Found lots of ghost towns and abandoned mines and stuff.
I never realized how good it was there until I got here (South Carolina) and there is diddley-squat here unless you want to go mudding with Bubba in his Monster truck.

Nice video, very beautiful. I love going out West. One of my favorite National Parks is Arches NP in Utah.

Mt. Lemmon is still burning. Maybe 5% contained. Winds won't die down until later this week. No moisture on the horizon. Too bad, beautiful area. But it'll grow back.

Ha!

It only took the Four Peaks area about 5 years to regain 80 percent reveg. It wont take long for Lemmon. Mother nature has a way to make that happen.

BW. I heard about the CV joint problem. Sucks. Fucking LR Scottsdale.

Thanks on the congrats....now if I could just get the beast titled. Failed emissions twice. Hopefully will pass this week. Fucking rovers.
:-)
