K&N oil filter users, quick ?

Author Message   Matt (Doc175) Member Username: Doc175 Post Number: 142 Registered: 11-2002 Posted on Saturday, June 21, 2003 - 03:45 pm:    I was in Advanced Auto Parts yesterday and I overheard one of the salesmen tell another customer that a K&N oil filter only needs to be changed once a year. I asked him about it and he said the under normal driving coditions and mileage, that's what K&N says. Is that correct? I can not find anywhere that substantiates that. Stop and go, the weather changing all the time,temperature differences etc, you get the point.
