I had posted on this subject before, but no one replied, and I cant find the original(archives or something). Now, I'd like to maybe get a more general question going. The problem is: When I turn on either my sidelamps or my headlights(one or two clicks over), my left brake light no longer works when I depress the brake. With the sidelamps off, both the regular light and the brighter brake light work. With the sidelamps on, the brighter brake light doesnt. Now, my question is, from an electrical viewpoint, what could cause such a situation? From looking at the LR electrical diagrams on the RAVE cd, I see that the left side lights are pretty much chained together, but I cant find a common place between the lights being on and the functionality of the brake light. If they shared a common ground, could it somehow short out that light? I'm fishing for any help here, as I'm pretty much stuck. |
