Looks good! I had a drive line shop switch the non-greasable joint cores with greasable ones from GBR.

Isn't it nice to have that non-exploding-drive-shaft feeling?

The shaft looks great. How much did each of you have fork out for the upgrade?

Erik, they made one with a spicer double cardon so even the swivel housing is greaseable. This is one up on just changing the u-joints...
David, email off line...

cheers,'

I don't remember exactly how much the total was for me, David, something about $100 I think, plus replacement nuts/bolts for the drive shaft flanges.

Erik - Did you have yours done in Southern California? I was looking for someone in the San Diego area to put one together.

Actually, I had to drive from Irvine down to San Diego to get it done. The shop's name is "Drive Line Service of San Diego", (619) 275-0150. They did the install for something like $35.00, while I waited (about 30 mins). The guy seemed a little confused with my drive shaft, saying it didn't fit his tools exactly right, since it was all metric, but he figured it out, and I've had no troubles, after about 3000 miles.

Drive Line Service is great. I put a Ford V6 in a Samurai a few years back and needed a custom driveshaft that connected the output of the transmission (C4) to the input flange of the divorced zuki t-case. It had to be really short and make up for my lack of 'in-line' for the engine/. DLS did great, and inexpensive. They are right off Moreno, near USD.
