I followed the tech section on the repair of rear power windows (which would take any normal person much more than "15 minutes" to do). I cannot remove the smaller of the two plastic wire connectores from the circuit board(which is fried at the percise area mentioned in Tech section). Is there a trick - or should I just pull with brut force( I am afraid of !@#!ing up the fragile circuit board)
anybody???? as I write this , the wires and board are hanging out of the glove box area and the rear window at half mass

First, make sure the (-) cable is disconnected otherwise you may fry that board if it grounds on something while you're manipulating it. It will come off, there should be a small tab to prise up to help you get it out. If this fix fails and the rear windows are at half mast you can get them up...to do this (1st reconnect the battery)& run a hot wire / probe from the (+) terminal of the battery to the window motor. To do this requires removing the door panel and unclipping the motor connector which is easily accessible. Put the hot lead into one of the contacts and another wire in the other termnal to a good grounding point. Reverse the wires if the window goes the wrong way

thanks for the reply toddrover. I tried every possible way to remove the clip but nothing worked - except getting blood on the board from a gash. I suppose the clip was defective or something. Anyways - I managed to solder the problem spot ( with a little McGiver action with a mirror so I could see) Trying to get my big mitts in there to fix the problem was a task. I did see your post a while back about disconnecting the negative terminal - many thanks!! all in all it was a success. the windows are now at full mass. Now I can wash the beast.

Cheers to you Toddrover!
