I want to put OME 751 springs up front and 762 springs in the rear. What is the largest tire I can fit? Are 265/75/16s too big? |

Try the tech section under tires...sorry but I don't have a lift yet and that is where I found the info for future reference. |

265/75 aren't too big, but in my opinion that size on a d1 makes it look silly. 235/85-16 is a better size... Moving on, decided on a tire yet? |

I'm looking at the BFG mud terrain. I had a set once and they were great, although a little costly. I've always had good luck with Bridgestone tires though. Maybe their MT will work as well. Too many choices! I've heard of a bunch of people running Dunlop tires, but I don't know much about them. I'm concerned with road noise, as I travel a lot. |

I'm running 265/75's on my D1 - they work fine. You do have to do a bit of body cutting in the rear. You will also loose turning radius. I got offset wheels (3/4 inch) to preserve mine. |

Will the 255-65-16 on a stock suspension D1 require trimming and is the rim wide enough to handle this size? (I know it is the same height as stock 235-70-16 just wondering about the width) Has anyone tried this size and did the ride and handling improve at all? thanks.. |

255/65/16s will fit with no problem. I have 245/70/16s now and have no problem whatsoever. |

Parrish, pardon a dumb question but will the 255/65/16s and the 245/70/16s fit on stock wheels? I am considering an upgrade from my POS 225/75/16 GY Wrangler AT/Ss. Thanks |

Yep. No problems with either. I started with stock 235/70/16s. |
