Any input as to how much of a difference in feel to expect from the OME damper. I'm installing it tomorrow and wanted to know if it was gonna be noticeable.

depends on how worn out your old one was...i replaced mine at 30,000 miles with an ome. not so much because i was having problems with my old one, but because i ordered the whole ome hd kit from john at ee and i wanted to install something right away. not too much that i could feel at the time. but i have only tested it on the mean streets of dallas, not off road.

I replaced mine at 85k and there was a difference that I could feel, turned much tighter I thought and handled better, but just me.

Dont really need a dampner IMO. Took mine off, one less thing to hit, cant tell the difference.

The current dampner is in good condition I think. Only 48K on the Disco. I've heard they were a good cost worthy mod. Oh well-I guess I'll find out. Thanks.

i would advise in putting that dampener back on. i have had worn out ones on varies vehicles and would not want to have one missing on my lifted truck.

It does make a difference. I replaced the stock steering shock with an OME about 2 months ago and I can confirm that it is way better. You will feel it on potholes and other street irregularities....
