Was shopping at Walmart, Pep Boys and Target for dino trans fluid. For Valvoline, they only carry the new Max Life product. It's got some additives that helps trans with over 75K. I really just want an ordinary quality oil without added "stuff". Is this Max Life a good product to use? What are some other good dino fluids? Thanks. |

This max life stuff(choosea brand) has additives that swell the seals and such reducing leakage. But once you've gone over to it you have to stay with it as from hence forward your seals will need to be bathed in this stuff or they'll shrink back and leak more. So the question is does your motor leak? oh, yea, right this is the Rover board, all our engines leak! would I use it? only as the last resort. |

Or are all dino transmission fluids out there the same then as long as I stick with Pennzoil, Mobil etc. or are there better makes? There is no transmission leak right now. |

I threw some Max life in my 94 and 95 disco's and they are running great since then. I was thinking about using in in my Tcase as they leak too. |
