My 2000 DII has the ACE package but no SLS. Am I better off not having it or should I get mad and burn somethin' down? Most of my driving will be on the interstate, but when I go off-road will not having the SLS make a difference? |

SLS is pretty much irrelevant unless you do a lot of towing. I have it on my D2 and am going to get rid of it as soon as I upgrade my suspension |

The SLS benefits you off road by increasing your butt height.

In OZ the 4wd reviewers all say that the SLS trucks do not handle anywhere near as well as the standard set up - washy in the rear. I dont know-never driven a SLS one. |

Of course, then you have airbags in the rear... and airbags can be punctured off-road, leaving you with a much lower butt. |
