I know on earlier models, such as '89, the voltage stabilizer for the guages is located in the back of the binacle. But where is it located on a '91? |

Hey ben... Im told by one of the top techs that my 89s is under the dash on the steering colume cluster of sensors. I believe its the yellow one. If you dont mind me asking, what are you looking for it for? gauge trouble? Craig89RR |

Hi Craig, On my '89, it was in the back of the instrument panel. I once cleaned the contacts and it seemed to normalize my temp and fuel guage readings. I'm not really having any guage problems, although my fuel guage does sometimes look to be reading too low. I'd just like to know where they moved it to. |

hey ben... i wasnt real sure...i could have the wrong thing. i was told this by ken parker one of the senior techs at land rover. i was told it was what supplys the 10V to the temp gauge. he told me to look on the steering colume for a yellow sensor. i know the contection your talking about behind the binical and i know your right it has something to do with the gauge being stable. I'll look in workshop manual for yours on your 91..Craig89RR |
