I was running a wire from the back of my 95 Disco to the front. When I made my way up to the carpet beneath the drivers seat I found out that beneath the carpet and the rubber squishy mat were completlely soaked. This made me recall that I had felt little drops on my foot comming from the foot well when it rained one time. I was just wondering if it's possible that little dropps could have actually water logged the carpet and rubber or if it may be leaking from another spot? Has anyone else has had this problem? Where should I start to look for leaks? Also another problem that just started recently, the service engine light sometimes blinks then goes out when I accelerate from a stop.

It could be your A/C and the drains on each side of the transmission hub, under your vehicle, need to be opened/unplugged. When they get clogged I get condensation run off down the right and left sides of the transmission hump by your feet on both sides. I found one passenger side carpet and rear passenger carpet soaking wet after a few days of running the A/C. Good luck...

Hey thanks for replying, I'll check on the plugs and for now I am just going to have to pull everything out to let it dry. Also, do you know where I could pick up a Haynes manual?

I had the exact same problem, and I still did after clearing the drains under the vehicle. If the water you felt dripping on your foot was from the left side of the footwell (assuming a LHD vehicle of course), then it is almost certainly coming from a backed-up sunroof drain. I traced mine to way up behind the fuse box right to a 1/4 inch or so black tube - the aforementioned drain hose. These get clogged by small leaves, dirt, pine needles, etc and need to be blown out by compressed air. For a quick fix during a very rainy time last month I rigged a small funnel up in there with a tube attaced to drain out the inner quarter panel. Still haven't blown the drains out, but all is much drier. Good Luck!
